Thank you for your interest in commissioning a piece of art by Mauritz Heine. Each painting is created with care, precision, and a deep respect for the natural world. Mauritz works primarily in realism, drawing inspiration from the beauty of flora and fauna—particularly birds and plant life.
The Process
- Medium & Surface: High-quality canvas, painted with professional-grade oil paints.
- Sessions: Each artwork is typically completed within two to four sessions, each lasting around three hours.
- Archival Quality: All works are prepared to archival standards, ensuring longevity and preservation.
Varnishing & Drying Time
Oil paint requires time to cure properly. Completed artworks need 6–8 months of drying time before a thick resin-based varnish can be safely applied.
- You do not need to wait this long to receive your painting.
- You may request to have the varnish applied later, or choose to keep the work unvarnished.
Authenticity
Every original painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist.
